Aged 25 at the time of her marriage.
She worked as a cook/housekeeper for a Duke (of Buccleugh ?) or an Earl in London. She went with them to their country estate at, or near, Bourton on Dunsmore where she met and ultimately married John Reeve [Jack] RAWBONE, a gamekeeper on the Estate.
Her brother, Tom MARTIN, was a postmaster in Shrewsbury, Shropshire. Information from Vera RAWBONE, née OAKLEY, 9/12/94. Tom, was the father of Elsie who married Frank WATTS and lived in Selly Oak, Birmingham. They had a son, Martin.
Frank worked for the chocolate company, Cadbury, at Bourneville in the 1940's.

Age confirmed in a letter dated 15 Nov 1929 to son, John, with a wedding present.
According to his Daughter-in-Law, Olive RAWBONE, he served in Ireland - Black & Tans?
Farmed at Broad Marsh, Eardisland after leaving Warwickshire and retired to The Court Lodge, Whitborne, Worcestershire.
Towards the end of his life, he was resident for some time in an Evesham nursing home.
